Abstract
An alloy steel having a high creep resistance at temperatures up to at least 700 DEG C. has a composition C 0.08-0.4 per cent, Si 0.1-1.0 per cent, Mn 0.2-3.0 per cent, Cr 9-17 per cent, Ni 7-12 per cent, Mo 1.75-3 per cent, Cu 1-4 per cent, Ti 0.25-1.0 per cent, balance iron with the normal residual impurities. W 0.25-3 per cent may be added. Specifications 577,892 and 616,207 are referred to.
