668,458. Refrigerators. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Sept. 25, 1950 [Oct. 14, 1949], No. 23445/50. Class 29 In the refrigerator cabinet described in Specification 667,515, the drawer 8 is provided with a scraper 23 which, when the drawer is pulled out, sweeps frost from the bottom 25 and sides of the drawer compartment into a pan 30 situated in the machinery compartment, mounted on runners 32 and provided with a trim piece 33 having a hole 35 for frost. In a modifi- . cation, Fig. 3, a scraper 51 is fixed to the front of the compartment and scrapes frost from the drawer when the latter is pulled out, the frost passing through holes in the scraper into the pan 30. In this embodiment, the drawer itself is refrigerated by an evaporator 41 attached to a drawer shelf . 42 and by an evaporator 39 on the back wall 40 of the drawer, the evaporators being connected to the refrigerating machinery by coiled conduits 43, 44 which allow movement of the drawer.
