666,077. Shower units. TANNER, T. H., and VALBANIA, Ltd. April 14, 1950. [April 14, 1949] No. 10200/49. Class 26. [Also in Group XXVIII] A conduit 3 for a shower unit 1 has two or more pivotal joints 2, 4 at least one of which comprises a pair of hollow members 28, 30 connected to the parts 27, 31 of the conduit, a pivot member 29 and a bolt 32 passing through axially aligned apertures in the walls of the hcllow members to grip the hollow members and allow them to rotate about the pivot, the apertures 34 being of larger diameter than the pivot to provide an annular passage connecting the interiors cf the hollow members. The portion of the conduit below the lower pivotal joint may be fixed to the wall as at 6 and the conduit connected to a mixing valve 8 having hot and cold taps 11 and a cock 9 for directing the water to the shower or the bath tap 10.
