'[Class 65(i)] A jointed folding stay comprises two channel section members 1, 2 and a spring 6 connected at its respective ends to the members and adapted to fold or extend the members on one or the other side of its over-centre position, the members having abutments 5 adapted to retain them in alignment when the stay is fully open. It is characterized in that the ends of said spring are anchored to projections 7, 8, upstanding from the channel bases of said members.
