[Class 141] Girdle trunks of the type formed from a single piece of laterally stretchable material with a central portion 3 having inwardly curved d edges 6 adapted to form the crutch and two rectangular end portions 1, 2 offering greater resistance to extension than the central portion, is characterized by the provision of a longitudinal dart 5 which is slit for part of its length to form two overlapping flaps 7. To complete the trunks the side edges of the end portions 1, 2 are seamed and may be reinforced with braid. The edges 6 may be bound with strips of elastic and the flaps 7 provided with a facing.
