644,267. Diving-apparatus. GALEAZZI, R., [Firm of]. Sept. 10, 1948, No. 23885. Convention date, Sept. 13, 1947. [Class 68 (ii)] In an underwater observation chamber, the apparatus which would otherwise obstruct the movements of the operator, are carried on a rotatable frame on which a seat is mounted, and the dimensions of the chamber are such that the frame and apparatus carried thereby are just able to rotate and the operator can be accommodated only in a seated position. As shown, the seat 4 is adjustable horizontally and vertically on a frame 3, which is revolved, on a track 5, to bring the operator opposite to a selected window 6. The apparatus which revolves with the frame may include an oxygen bottle or bottles having control valves 7, a lever 8 which actuates a known mechanism 9 for releasing ballast, and an air-circulating fan 10.
