[Class 104(ii)] A trolley unit for an overhead conveyer of the endless type comprises a casing 16 formed in two similar sections 16a, 16b secured together by bolts 17 and shaped to provide between them horizontal bosses 18 which receive stub axles 19 carrying rollers 20 arranged to travel over a track provided by the horizontal flanges of laterally spaced angle-bars 21, the vertical flanges of which provide guiding tracks for a lower roller 24 carried by a vertical axle 23 mounted in a boss 22 similar to the bosses 18. An upper roller 24 with its axle 23 aligned with that of the lower roller and in the same plane as that of the axles 19 of rollers 20 co-operates with upper guide channels provided at curved portions of the trackways. The casing 16 is hollow and provides an internal chamber with substantially spherical end portions which have outwardly flared holes 27 for the reception of connecting rods 15 between the trolley unit and similar units forming the endless conveyer. The ends of the connecting rods are formed with heads 30 to engage the flat inner faces of spherical bearing heads 28 within the casing, the flat faces being provided with annular grooves forming seatings for the ends of a helical compression spring 31. The vertical axle of the lower roller 24 may be extended downwardly to form a shank 35 constituting the upper portion of a hook or other carrier member.
