621,304. Mudguards. HOCKLEY MUDGUARDS Ltd., and WASDELL, E. T. Feb. 15, 1947, No. 4443. [Class 136 (i)] In a perambulator or like mudguard of the kind having radial stays 2, 3 with a central screw-actuated clamping device securing the stays to a standard axle, one end of the clamping strap 11 is provided with a lug 12 which can be threaded through a hole 9 in a stay 2 to form an end anchorage about which angular movement of the strap is 'permitted. The clamping strap is raised from a sheet metal blank into an approximately channel section and one or both limbs 13 of the section are extended into an abutting hook-like lug or lugs 12.
