[Class 136 (i)] In a bicycle stand of the kind in which a leg a, Fig. 2, is pivoted between the limbs of a channel section lug c, clamped to the bicycle frame g, and having a spring which bears against flat surfaces formed on the end of the leg holding it in either the operative or inoperative position, a flat leaf-spring k, Fig. 3, secured to the base of the lug c bears against either of the surfaces i or j. The spring may also be either laminated or consist of two springs secured together at one end.
