[Class 79 (i)] An agricultural tractor comprises an engine, gear-box and a differential, the differential case having around its periphery a channel in which is rotatably mounted a collar connected to the draw-bar, thus permitting relative rotation between the tractor and draw-bar of 360 degrees. Fig. 1 shows a tractor with engine 1, gear-box 2 surmounting the differential and axle casing 12. Power from the gear-box is transmitted from a shaft 5 by gears 6 to a shaft 7 carrying a worm 8, which meshes with the crown wheel 9 of its differential. The casing 12 is provided with a flange 16 and a circular angular member 15 together forming a channel in which is rotatably mounted a collar 17, an extension 18, 19 of which forms the draw-bar. The collar may run to ball-bearings. The bar may serve to tow a seed distributor or other implements, as shown in Fig. 4, or be attached to a small castor wheel 28 as shown in Fig. 5. In the former case the sleeve 20 of the towed implement is free to rotate about the bar 19 to allow for uneveness of ground, but when a castor wheel is fitted as in Fig. 5, the sleeve 27 is clamped by a bolt 31. Fig. 6 shows a modification in which the channel housing the collar 45 slopes inwardly so that the lubrication oil does not tend to leak out. The collar may be chamfered to allow for a small oil reservoir 48. The channel may be formed integral with the differential casing instead of using a flange and a circular angular member in which case the collar is built up from a number of segments held together by a circular band.
