Abstract
603,845. Clamps. MITCHELL, M. N. Oct. 31, 1945, No. 28885. [Class 44] [Also in Groups X and XV] A clamp adapted to connect a plurality of rods or tubes comprises a pair of circular plates 10, 11 having radial indentations 12 in which the rods or tubes 19 are engaged, the plates being held together by a hollow bolt 14 through which another rod 20 may be passed and held in position by grub screw 21. The indentations may be of curved or angled section and may be roughened or serrated to afford a firm grip. The clamp is adapted for use in making toy constructions, e.g. toy cranes, or full size constructions, e.g. builders' scaffolding.
