[Class 20 (ii)] [Also in Group XV] A coupler for fastening together two or more light rods comprises a pair of complementary plates a, b of sheet metal pressed to form grooves c, d, Fig. 1, and t, u, v, Fig. 7, such that each corresponding pair of grooves grips a rod when the plates are clamped together through their flat web portions by means of a screw or screws. The plates may be so designed that two rods are held in line or intersect at any desired angle or three rods intersect at any desired solid angle.
