602,206. Stair-carpet fasteners. ALLEN, E. H. Oct. 29, 1945, No. 28623. [Class 52 (v) ] A stair-carpet fastener comprises a clip 9 the rear face of which carries a lug 12 to pass into a trapezoidal aperture 6 of a securing bracket 1 attached to the stair the lug, when in position, being acted upon by a spring 7 so that the slots 15 of the lug engage a marginal edge of the aperture 6. The lug may be formed as a U-shaped member or in any other suitable form.
