[Class 78 (i)] Grain from hopper 19 falls down shoot 21 into mixing chamber 27 where air is introduced through pipe 39 from fan 36 which draws in air through aperture 42 controlled by plate 43 and ejects it through flexible delivery pipe 30 with grain entrained. Supply of grain may be controlled. by gate valve 22 in the shoot and louvres 46 in pipe 30 prevent backdraught. Walls 10, 11 support'the fan and shoot between them.
