600,431. Scaffolding clamps. ACROW (ENGINEERS), Ltd., and HOBBS, A. A. Oct. 16, 1945, No. 27072. [Class 20(ii)] In a swivel coupler for scaffolding, the members a, b, connected together by a pivot pin c, are each formed with a recess for receiving a scaffold tube, the part of the recess adjacent to the pivot being curved to the radius of the tube while the part remote from the pivot is more or less flattened. The members a, b may be formed as open-backed castings or pressings, each having outer ribs a<1> or b<1> and an intermediate rib a<2> or b<2>.
