599,513. Wrenches, pliers, &c. MEIGH HIGH TENSILE ALLOYS, Ltd., and MEIGH, C. H. Sept. 26, 1945, No. 24919. [Classes 61 (ii) and 61 (iii)] Wrenches, pliers, &c. comprise a jaw lever b with a gap b<3> through the middle formed or provided with a pivot lug b<2> and a solid jaw lever a adapted to be passed handle end first through the gap and formed with a semicylindrical recess a<1> seating over the pivot lug b<2>, arcuate guide surfaces a<3>, b<4> being formed on the two parts. A stop b<5> may be welded in the g p b<3> adapted to contact with the stop surface a<2> on the part a to prevent inadvertent separation of the two parts.
