Abstract
592,920. Cycles. LEETE, J. F. June 12, 1945, No. 14844. [Class 136 (iii)] In a pneumatically tyred bicycle the front and rear wheels 24, 18 have a diameter not less than 31 inches and are preferably both about 34 inches and the tyre section is 1¢ inches or less. The crank spindle 20 and support for the saddle are ordinarily positioned. In modifications the support 17 is straight and made in the form of a fork between the arms of which the wheel passes, the handle-bars are so placed that the grips are well forward and the support 23 is straight and is attached to a point of connection on the steering column-near to the handlebars.
