Abstract
591,585. Stoppers. DOUGLASS, G. W. July 14, 1944, No. 13494. [Class 125 (iii)] A stopper is provided with a plug or spigot portion 11 filling the whole of the upper part of a bottle or other container so as to displace surplus liquid and is held closed by a bayonet joint 14, 15, and a sealing washer 16 is located upon a flange 17 on the bottle mouth by a rim 18 on the flange. Three equally spaced bayonet - joints may be provided.
