March 23, 1945, No. 7352. 83 (iii)] In a boring &c. bar in which a plain or toothed circular cutter can be adjusted to suit the diameter of hole being bored and to bring an unworn section into use, the cutter 3 is rotatably mounted in a slot 2 inclined to the longitudinal axis of the bar 1 on an eccentric pin 4 which is carried by a head 5 rotatable in the body and locked by a screw 8. Screws 9 clamp the cutter in position.
