Divided out of 585,392, [Group VI] [Class 122 (i)] [Also in Group VI] A piston plunger closure 20 for an ampoule [see Group VI] comprises a diaphragm 9 backed by discs 21, 22 including an incompressible disc interposed between a compressible disc and the diaphragm. The diaphragm may be of pure rubber calendered or glazed or treated with wax or plastic material. The incompressible discs 21 may be made of fibre serrated at 24, and the compressible discs 22 may be formed from sheet rubber or rubber-like material and have central holes 23.
