Abstract

584,072. Piezo - electric crystal mountings. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. (General Electric Co.). Oct. 27, 1944, No. 20981. [Class 40 (v)] A piezo-electric crystal plate 10 has electrode coatings 12 which are connected to outgoing terminals 14 by flexible lead wires 13 soldered to silver dots 13a situated along a nodal line. The crystal is supported between the arms of a resilient bracket 17 having insulating jaws 20 which engage slots in the crystal along the nodal line. The base 11 may be joined to the edges of a hermetically sealed glass envelope.
