[Class 64 (i)] [Also in Group XI] An open fireplace comprises a front combustion space 3, and a rear combustion space 2 enclosed in a boiler 1, the combustion space 3 being fed with fuel from the front and the rear combustion space being fed with fuel through an opening 15. The combustion chamber 2 communicates with the combustion space 3 through a passage 9 and with the chimney flue at the top.
