Abstract

580,586. Walls. KREMER. A., and RACHLIS, M. Oct. 24, 1944, No. 20639. [Class 20 (iv)] In order to secure pictures or fixtures such as lampholders to a hollow panelled wall comprising inner and outer skins, there is provided a plug 10 passed through an aperture 15 in the outer skin 16, across the cavity between the skins, and having its inner end secured to the inside face of the inner skin 13. For this purpose a small screw 11 may be provided on the inner end of the plug, the face of which is provided with a slot 12 for a screwdriver. Alternatively the inner end may have small nails protuding therefrom, or a tongue to engage a recess in the inner skin and to be glued therein. The plug may be bored for the passage of electric conductors.
