[Class 110 (iii)] The oppositely-rotating parts of a gas turbine, providing an exhaust for jet propulsion of aircraft, carry airscrew blades. In another form, the outer rotating part carries axial flow blades which co-operate with other blades on an enveloping stator and these form an air-compressor which delivers extra air to the propulsion jet. Specifications 544,909 and 574,447 are referred to.
