577,911. Fluid-pressure servomotorcontrol systems. HOBSON (AIRCRAFT & MOTOR) COMPONENTS, Ltd., H. M., and MADDOX, S. V. Dec. 28, 1943, No. 21713. Drawings to Specification. [Class 135] A vane-type servomotor for adjusting the datum of the propeller pitch governor in an aero engine provided with a constant speed airscrew has its control valve coupled to the pilot's throttle lever and mounted for movement in one sense (i.e. either axial or rotational) and normally restrained against movement in the other sense (i.e. rotational or axial), and a manually operable lever is provided for moving the valve in the other sense for override purposes. The invention is illustrated with reference to the disclosure in Specification 577,910. Specifications 464,891 and 577,913 also are referred to.
