[Class 97 (iii)] A transparent semicircular protractor a is provided with a ruler the length of the diameter comprising two limbs b, c pivoted medially at d on a projection in the plane of the protractor so that one edge of the ruler may be brought flush with the lower edge f of the protractor. The limb c has a flange e to rest on the surface of the paper. In use, the limb b is set to the required angle on the peripheral scale on the protractor then the angle between the limb c and the edge f , is the required angle or its complement.
