573,069. Fencing posts. GLAYSHER, W. H. Oct. 28, 1943, No. 17771. [Class 45] A fencing or like post 5 is secured to the ground by a concrete support 1 having a base 2 extending outward on three sides thereof. The support 1 has a tunnel 3 which takes over a rod, &c. 4 previously driven into the ground, and its base 2 may have holes 8 through which securing pegs can be driven into the earth The support 1 is secured tc the adjacent post 5 by a U- shaped metal strap 6 embracing the support 1 and bolted, screwed, &c. at 7 to the post 5. The tunnel 3 may extend to the top of the support 1 to enable a clothes-line prop to be inserted.
