Abstract

1,218,188. Staying masts. DELL QUAY GROUP Ltd. 2 Aug., 1968 [5 Aug., 1967], No. 36059/67. Heading B7V. [Also in Division E1] A hollow mast 2 or post has an aperture through which a dome-shaped element 8 extends, the element 8 engaging the internal surface of the mast or post and being connected to a stay 4. The stay passes through a hole in dome 12 of element 8 and has a knot 16 in the widened end of a sleeve 20. The element 8 may be fixedly secured to the mast. The element may be elongated and insertable through the aperture.
