[Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXXIII] In a gas turbine plant which may be used for the jet propulsion of aircraft, the rotors 23 are splined to the shaft 19 and the radial flow stage rotor 21 is free on the shaft, but secured to the rotors 23 by rubber discs 22 vulcanized to the rotors 21, 23. The rotors are held against axial displacement by a split ring 24 and this ring is prevented from opening at high speeds by a bush 25 which is slipped over it.
