Abstract

567,081. Collapsable hand-carts &c. NORMAN, F. G., and NORMAN, C. T. July 1, 1943, No. 10663. [Class 108 (i)] Collapsable hand-carts, trailers, &c. comprise a base frame or chassis 1, at each side of which is a wheel-carrying frame 12 hinged at 17 to the base frame end members 3 so as to be foldable into the position shown in Fig. 3, the base frame itself being also longitudinally foldable about hinges 5. Bolts and nuts 18, 20 engaging in slots 19 are used to lock frames 12 in the position of use. Uprights 30 and rails 31 are supported by transverse rods 34 hinged at one end and releasable at the other from a fastening to an upright 30. Detachable tow-bars 50 are connected to anchor plates 56 mounted on frames 12.
