564,567. Tea - rolling machines. NICHOLLS, E. J. July 29, 1943, No. 12338. [Class 129] The surface 3 of a tea-rolling machine is supported from its central shaft 1, 2 by springs, which may be spiral as at 7 in Fig. 1, or leaf, as at 10, 18 in Figs. 2 and 3. The torque is transmitted from the shaft to the roller by radial webs 4 engaging with clearance sockets 5, or by the spring 18 engaging projections 15 on the roller. The roller may be made up of a number of annular sections, and may coact with a non-resilient roller or a flat surface.
