Abstract

205,655. Fletcher, G. H., and Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd. Sept. 20, 1922. Self aligning roller bearings. - A resilient bush interposed between a roller race and its housing or between a roller race and its shaft so as to allow a limited angular movement of the race, comprises a metallic cylinder 1 having at least one coaxial annular groove extending from each end. As shown in Fig. 1, annular grooves 2, 3 extend from each end to within a short distance of the other end. As shown in Fig. 2, annular grooves 5, 6 extend from each end to within a short distance of the centre. A recess 10 is provided in either the inner or outer periphery. Specification 2204/90 is referred to.
