[Class 44] [Also in Group XXI] A receptacle or bag 5 for spent cartridge cases is mounted on a frame 4 detachably connected to a bracket on a hoop 2 which can be readily clamped to a firearm near the ejection opening. In the form shown in plan in Fig. 3, a two-part hinged strap 2 is clamped to the gun by a screw 9 and has a bracket with a longitudinal guide to receive slidably the frame 4 which is retained by a spring clip 15 on the frame. The frame may be connected to the bracket by split pins such as 18, Fig. 6, and these may be fastened by a rotary T-member 20, the arms 23 of which have cut-away parts 24 to permit of insertion of the pins, the split portions of .which are pressed into locking position when the member 20 is rotated to the position shown.
