Abstract

An ampoule is made by subjecting polythene to injection moulding in a mould so shaped that the ampoule is provided with a neck adapted to fit into the rear end of a hypodermic needle, removing the ampoule, filling it with liquid and sealing the open end remote from the neck by heating and crimping. In use, the top of the neck portion of the ampoule is pierced, the hypodermic needle is fitted over the neck and the contents expressed by squeezing the ampoule.
