556,515. Springs. GEMINDER, M. Aug. 28, 1942, No. 12135. [Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group VII] A tensioning means for straps, belts, such as for supporting goggles, eye shades &c. and for garment supporting means, such as hose suspenders and shoulder straps and tab ends of braces, comprises a coiled tension spring 5 accommodated within a sheath 1 of non-extensible flexible material, normally puckered when the spring is not extended, the ends of the spring being anchored at 2, 2a directly to the sheath. The sheath may be formed with pockets to receive a number of such springs.
