[Class 145 (ii)] A chain for cutting timber, felling trees &c. has adjacent pivoted links 1, 2 provided with teeth 5, 6 such that during the cutting they have a laterally opposite side by side relation. The teeth 6 may be replaced by mere obturating members filling the gap between teeth 5. When each link is single, like the link shown at 1, the laterally opposite teeth are provided on those parts of two adjacent links which overlap.
