No. 14174/40 [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Feb. 13, 1941.] [Class 7 (ii)] The upper surface 6 of the exhaust passage 2 is horizontal adjacent to the outer surface of the cylinder, changing to an upward slope 7 of which the edge is level with the upper edges of the admission ports 3. A non-return valve 5 prevents the exhaust gases from passing into the inlet pipe.
