[Class 37] Each base plate 1 of the elements of a rectifier carries a number of separate counter-electrodes each on its semi-conducting layer and a set of cooling plates 5 of U-section on its other side. Connecting leads for the electrodes are led to a contact bar 13 supported by the unit. Thus, the leads 17, 18 from the part counter-electrodes combine at an insulating bush 19 to connect to a tab 22, while the base plate connects with a tab 24, and so on throughout.
