[Class 99 (i) ] [Also in Group X] In cattle stalls or other tubular structures wherein tubes H, H<SP>1</SP> are connected together and serve to convey water or other fluid or vacuum, the tubes are coupled together by. a sleeve A which is screwed to one tube H and has its other end reduced at A<SP>1</SP> to receive a screwed flanged member M carrying a washer F, which is screwed in abutting relationship with the tube H<SP>1</SP> by a cap nut D. The sleeve A may carry a split socket B for attachment to the top of a tubular upright K, and another socket C for attaching a pipe J, which may, for example, serve for supplying water to a drinking-trough.
