[Class 132 (ii)] [Also in Group XVIII] In an amusement apparatus, which may be coinfreed, a number of inclined planes 10, 11, 12, Fig. 1, are arranged one below the other so that a ball, after projection up an inclined plane by a trigger 19 and after passing through one of a number of holes 14, 15, 16, may cause a corresponding representation 22 to fall from, or rise into, view the ball then falling to the next inclined plane for similar projection until it falls from the lowermost plane into a chamber where it remains until the start of the next game. Balls passing through losing holes 17, 18 run to the foot of the plane below for further projection. Balls returning down the plane are deflected through holes 27, 28 by angle pieces 26 and pass directly to the plane below. The representations 22 are carried by levers 24, Fig. 2, supported by spring-pressed catches which are displaced by the passing balls to allow the representation to disappear through the shelf 20 as indicated by broken lines. In a modification, Figs. 4 and 5, (not shown) the representations rise into view on liberation of the catches. Tonnage indicatiors 32 corresponding to the various representations 22 are illuminated as the representations are "sunk" and a lamp gives a momentary red flash. Alternatively, a total tonnage indicator may be provided. The representations are reset by pivoted levers which may be simultaneously operated by pushing in the coin slide 43. A ball lift actuated by a hand lever 50 is provided for raising the balls one at a time to the foot of the uppermost inclined plane.
