[Class 132 (ii)] Means for playing a board game simulating a field game such as football, hockey, lacrosse or polo comprises a board, a plurality of pieces representing opposing teams, and a ball representation, the board being marked in squares or other figures to define a rectangular field of play with small goals c each constituted by a number of short rows of squares or other figures, and the pieces n, o being marked distinctively to indicate the limits and in some cases the direction of permissible movement at each turn in accordance with the rules of the game. The field markings may be constituted by masks or frames separable from the playing surface whereby the playing surface may be adapted for various games. The marginal edges of the playing surface may bear letters t and numbers s to identify the various squares. The playing pieces may be constituted by discs to which the numbers representative of the move values are detachably secured.
