Abstract

540,809. Huts. NISSEN BUILDINGS, Ltd., and FOLKES, W. H. July 26, 1940, No. 12190. [Class 20 (i)] A portable building comprises spaced arched supports 3 interconnected by spaced purlins 4 disposed on the outside of the arched members and projecting radially therefrom and panel members of the correct size to fit in the spaces between the arched members and the purlins. The panel members are formed with wooden frames 5 covered with a sheet of waterproofing material 6 and are secured to the purlins at their corners by screw eyes 7 and washers 8. Strips of waterproofing material may also be placed over the joints. A dormer window 16 is provided resting on a sill 17 and covered by a panel 18.
