[Class 3 (ii)] A show-card shown in the flat in Fig. 1, has a circular crease 3, straight creases 5a, 6a, and slits 4, 5, 6. Two triangular portions C, D, separated by the slit 4, are adapted to be brought one behind the other when the device is erected to assume the formation shown in vertical cross-section in Fig. 3. The central part A takes on a hollow cone form, and the rim 1 makes a receding frame thereto, the lower corners of the rim 1 forming a rear strut for the whole device which rests in front on the two bottom edges of the triangles C, D. On the rear triangle D is mounted, by a hinged extension 10, a cut-out display member B, the upper end of which is passed through a slot 7 in the front triangle C, and retained in place by a slit-out tongue 8. In a modification the front triangle has a turned-up base with a projecting tab which enters the slot 7 of the rear triangle when the triangles are superimposed. A separate creased foldable strut is cemented to the back of the part A, and the display member B is cemented to the front triangle. In both cases the edge 1 need not be truly circular, and may be scolloped &c.
