539,526. Switch contacts. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., HOLTOM, L. W., and GARRARD, C. J. O. April 19, 1940, No. 7091. [Class 38 (v)] A bridging contact, which may be used for example in the circuit-breaker described in Specification 517,621 comprises a U-shaped member of good conducting material such as copper 1 reinforced by an inner core 2 of steel or other material. The ends may be provided with removable contact tips adapted to engage the two fixed contacts (not shown).
