Abstract

530,148. Cardboard boxes. KAY BROS., Ltd., and DIXON, D. L. June 19, 1939, No. 17799. [Class 18] A cardboard container e.g. such as can be used as a powder gun or distributer, is made from the blank shown, strips 12 being secured on panels 1, 2 at a small distance from the edge to provide a ledge on which the edges of walls 3, 4 may rest. These walls are secured in position by adhesive or by gummed paper. In the form shown in Fig. 4 walls 19, 22, 23 are hinged a slight distance inwards from the edges of panel 15 and walls 17, 26, 27 are folded around them, projections 20, 24, 25 entering slots 21, 24a, 25a, and a gummed paper strip being secured around the assembly. Holes 31, 32, 33 register to provide means of egress for powder.
