Abstract

529,968. Two-point couplings. HENLEY'S TELEGRAPH WORKS CO., Ltd., W. T., and MOOR, E. June 14, 1939, No. 17364. [Class 38 (i)] A flat blade contact 3 for a fuse &c. panel in a distribution pillar is made as a T-shaped member, the head 14 of the T forming the means for mounting the contact and being extended at one side to form a cable socket 17 that is displaced from the plane of the part 14. The contact is mounted on an insulator 1 in such a way as to be reversible so that the socket 17 can take up the position 20. A second interchangeable contact member is also made with the socket below the plane of the part 14 so that it can take up the positions 21, 22 thus providing four possible positions to suit various cable positions.
