[Class 38 (i)] A cable entering a coupling plug, is gripped between one of a number of projections g on the cap d and the serrated surface of a recess f in the body, the projections being of different lengths so that by turning the cap d, a selected one may be positioned in the recess to suit the size of cable being used. According to the Provisional Specification, in one position of the cap no projection may be provided, and depressions instead of projections may be provided for use with large cables.
