Abstract
527,953. Fountain pens. BALAZS, A. April 24, 1939, No. 12307. Convention date, April 23, 1938. [Class 146 (iii)] In a fountain per using solid ink intro duced into the pen reservoir d through a filling duct, atmospheric pressure acts upon the contents of the reservoir during writing through the filling duct. The ink in stick or granular form is introduced into the reservoir d through duct g<SP>2</SP>, about 1 mm. diameter, this duct also acting as a capillary air inlet. Duct g' feeds the fluid to the nib a. Duct g<SP>2</SP> may be formed in the nib section g and may be parallel with feed duct g'.
