Abstract
525,379. Luminescent materials. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and McKEAG, A. H. Feb. 20, 1939, No. 5601. Addition to 495,706, [Group XX]. [Class 39 (i)] The chloride referred to in claim 2 of the parent Specification is now a mixture of magnesium and manganese chloride instead of magnesium chloride as claimed in Specification 509,858. The luminescent material may be formed from 100 parts of cadmium phosphate, 5 parts manganous chloride and 10 parts of magnesium chloride heated at 800‹C. then ground and washed. 5 per cent. of magnesium oxide is added for the purpose set out in Specification 522,607.
