Abstract

523,533. Controllers. IGRANIC ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and WRIGHT, S. R. Nov. 9, 1938, No. 32557. [Class 38 (iii)] No-volt release.-A controller with forward contacts 4, shown closed, for running, and reverse contacts 4, shown open, which are closed for plugging has a no-volt coil 12 arranged to hold the forward contacts closed. The contacts are operated by a longitudinally operated knob 8, which when moved to the left compresses a spring 17 and then opens contacts 14 in circuit with the coil 12. This controller is combined with a speed controller A such as described in Specifications 507,759 and 507,760.
